Simultaneous Ring
One phone number for all your phones, calls
reach you anywhere, every time
Lightyear Simultaneous Ring lets you set up a Lightyear phone number to ring
multiple phone numbers. When someone calls, all the programmed phones will
ring at the same time and whichever phone you pick up first, gets the call.
If you do not pick up the call on any phones then it goes to voicemail of
the phone that picks up first. These programmed numbers don't even have to
be Lightyear phone numbers. They can be your cellular or even work phone number.
Calls sent to these numbers are treated as outbound calls from your Lightyear
VoIP phone service. Here's an example of how it works... say you program your
cellular number for Lightyear Simultaneous Ring. When your friends call your
Lightyear phone number, your Lightyear phone and cell phone will both ring.
You are in the car with your cell, you pick up the phone and you start talking.
If you're at home, just pick up your Lightyear phone and don't use up your
cellular minutes. It's that easy.
Use Lightyear Simultaneous Ring to consolidate
all your phone numbers into one!
How many phone numbers does an average person have these days? At least two...
your home and cell phone. So now you have to give out multiple phone numbers
to be found, right? Wrong! With Lightyear Simultaneous Ring, you can program
all your phones to ring when people dial just one phone number - your Lightyear
phone number. How? Simply program Simultaneous Ring with all your phone numbers
and then give out your Lightyear phone number. If you get a phone call on
your Lightyear phone number all your phones will ring. You get the flexibility
of taking the call wherever you are and callers only have to dial one number
to reach you. Lightyear Simultaneous Ring is a FREE feature included with
the Lightyear's Basic VoIP and all of the Lightyear VoIP Plus phone service
plans.
